Our Mission Statement

The Resource Center was established in 1978 as a center for materials and servives to support and strengthen the instructional program for students. Today there are over 3,800 items catalogued! Materials include hands-on math and science manipulatives, Family Living kits to supplement the elementary health program, trade books, and Japanese materials to name a few. The materials may be used by anyone who is interested in education. Teachers, administrators, parents, and private tutors may check out materials that are available.

The Resource Center is also home to several programs that serve the students of Fayette County. The Title 1 program and Head Start program for the school corporation have offices in the center. Located on the second floor of the building is the Technology office and Computer Training Lab. Staff professional development, parent workshops, administrator meetings, curriculum planning sessions and textbook review meetings are conducted at the Resource Center throughout the school year.

The Resource Center continues its longstanding commitment to improving the instructional program for students by serving the Fayette County School Corporation community.
